Presidents Club Dinner
The Cheyenne Family YMCA held its first annual President's Club Dinner on November 11, 2009. The Presidents Club members include Past YMCA Board Presidents that support the YMCA in its endevors both financially and extended leadership.
At the dinner the YMCA presented 2 YMCA members with Lifetime Membership Awards. The first to Earle Deardon, he has been a YMCA member for over 35 years. The second award to Jennie Joannides, who has been a YMCA member for 67 years.
Congratulations to Earle and Jennie!

The Summer Food Program and the Bus Program starts today!!
Bus schedule:
The Bus” is a FREE, adult-supervised program for grades K-6th. Activities include sports and games, nature activities, outdoor activities, arts and craft projects, science adventures, a summer reading program and many more fun activities.
A free lunch is served at each site.

Ed Carleo is retiring from the YMCA
Ed Carleo has been at the Cheyenne Family YMCA for 31 years. He has decided to retire and have more time for fun and games, not that there was not plently of that at the YMCA!!

Returned from the NAYDO conference with many new ideas. The conference is great. Met many new people from YMCA's all over the country. There were also many from other countries. Going to work on now implementing some new ideas that were discussed at the conference at the Cheyenne Family YMCA. Look for changes and new ideas emerging from this grat conference.

2009 Annual Campaign HUGE Success - Because of You!
The Cheyenne Family YMCA 2009 Annual Support Campaign wrapped up Thursday night with a highly attended Victory Party in Cheyenne.
The YMCA set a goal of $100,000 for this campaign, and exceeded the goal by $15,000.
Thank you to all who contributed!
We are very pleased with this result as we understand donations to community organizations and non-profits are down nationwide. Those of you who contributed and continually support the Cheyenne Family YMCA in these lean times are so important to what we do, and we thank you for your generosity.

Take a Spin in Our New Circuit Training Room!
We recently completed a six-month renovation of our facility to include a new Circuit Training room. Stop by and try our 30-minute workouts with our YMCA trainers.
